On June 26, 1960, while in prayer, Our Lord Jesus Christ showed me a young Hispanic boy walking up a hill, somewhere in Central America. His head was cocked sideways with his hand over his ear. He was listening to a transistor radio.
In January 1998, at the National Religious Broadcasters Conference in Washington, D.C., I met a Canadian who manufactuers solar powered transistor radios, tuned to a fixed frequency, as well as radio transmitters that fit in a small suitcase, (i.e. a Radio Station). My head raced and my heart pounded as I recalled the young Hispanic boy I saw in 1960, walking up the hill, listening to his transistor radio. I realized that technology is now in place for the boy and his remote village to have their own radios and radio transmitter. The Christian leader in their community can now share with his village, (in their own language), the Good News that God became a man and His name is Jesus Christ.
The cost to build a Radio Station in the USA is around $250,000.000 USD. The cost to build a radio station in a remote village is approximately $10,000.00 USD (depending on the size of the village). What a bargain! For this small investment, the village can have their own Radio Station.
Would you join me in building radio stations and providing transistor radios for people in remote areas?
We are available to speak and demonstrate a broadcast from the radio station in a suitcase. We welcome inquiries from churches and other interested groups. For more information or to make a tax deductable contribution, please contact:
